The blades are made of high quality stainless steel and the handles are made of oiled oak wood, which develops a patina and becomes more beautiful the more the set is used. The wooden handles are made from a single piece of wood and feel great in your hand. Wash with warm water and mild soap and dry by hand immediately. Not dishwasher safe. The wood part of the product is FSC certified oak.
