Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Nordichaus’ website operated by Nordichaus GmbH.


Nordichaus GmbH also mentioned at Nordichaus will provide services to you, which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions. This is why we urge you to read them carefully.

Nordichaus is entitled to process the data received about the buyer with regard to business relationships or in connection with them, regardless of whether they come from the buyer himself or from third parties, within the meaning of the Data Protection Act.
Personal customer data is treated confidentially and not passed on to third parties.
The customer acknowledges and accepts that Nordichaus may use Google Analytics or another tool for the purpose of analyzing purchasing behavior for statistical analysis. Nordichaus will use the knowledge gained purely for internal purposes and will not pass any data on to third parties.

Content published on this website (images, texts, graphics, logos) is the property of Nordichaus and/or its content creators and protected by international copyright laws. The entire compilation of the content found on this website is the exclusive property of Nordichaus, with copyright authorship for this compilation by Nordichaus.


Online orders are placed in the shop. The order is binding when the terms and conditions have been agreed to and the Checkout button has been pushed. Through this a completed and legally binding sales contract is concluded. After receiving your order an e-mail confirming the order will be sent to you.


After the order confirmation, we will send the ordered articles to the address declared by you in a package. The usual delivery time are 1-3 workdays for goods in stock. For gift wrapping orders longer delivery time can occur. 

For goods that are not in stock, longer delivery times can be expected. Normally 1-6 week depending on the products, if longer you will be contacted by Nordichaus.

We try to protect the environment by recycling packaging material when it is possible.

We do not replace stolen products. Once the order is completed by post or dpd, it is no longer our responsibility. Packages will be delivered without a signature. 

Switzerland & Liechtenstein

For deliveries in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein shipping costs have a flat rate on CHF 9.-. For orders above CHF 50.- we offer free shipping to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. 


Delivery in Europe please contact hej@nordichaus.ch and we will find a price. Please note that you will have to pay the customs and import costs yourself.


Our online offer is subject to change and non-binding. In general the articles offered in the online shop are available. Should it not be possible to deliver one or more articles due to stock variation Nordichaus will inform you about the circumstances as quickly as possible and offer you comparable articles. If none of these appeal to you, the amount due will be reimbursed.

We reserve the right to cancel any order according to errors in description, stock status and sold out item.


Nordichaus seek to follow the recommended retail prices and match the prices to the CHF currencies. Should you happen to find a product at a more affordable price somewhere else, please share it, and we will do our best to match it (i.e. not including special offers or campaigns etc.).

Our retail prices are calculated ex-stock and are stated in Swiss Francs including legal value-added tax. 

Nordichaus reserves the right to change its prices at any time and without notice, although the customer is only charged the price stated on the day of the order in the online shop.


We do not wrap furniture and large item. If you have bought gift wrapping for a product that can not be wrapped, we will return you the gift wrapping cost. 


For orders in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein the following payment methods are available: 

    Orders can also be paid for by e-payment by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) through the safe payment system STRIPE). Possible fees from the credit card company may be charged to you.
  • Sofort / Direct Bank Transfer: Make your payment directly into our bank account with using the Sofort Klarna solution. Pay with your familiar online banking details, without extra sign-ups and logins but with maximum security.
  • Paypal: If you choose Paypal, you will be redirected to your Paypal account after ordering. Here you pay easily and securely, and no further costs are born by you. Your bank or credit card details are only deposited with PayPal.
  • Twint: If you choose to pay with Twint, you pay the goods directly with your TWINT account via mobile app.

Promotional vouchers are vouchers, which cannot be purchased, but which we issue in connection with advertising campaigns. Promotional vouchers are only redeemable under the terms and conditions referred therein, from the respective recipient, in the specified period and only once per person. Individual products may be excluded from the voucher promotions.

Reimbursements of promotional vouchers for the partial or total return of the ordered products is excluded. Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed prior to the completion of the ordering process. Subsequent crediting is not possible. The promotional voucher is not transferable and may not be combined with other promotional vouchers. Should you have used a promotional voucher for your purchase, we reserve the right to charge you the original price of the goods, which you have retained, if – due to your cancellation- the total value of the order falls below the value of the promotional voucher.

Promotional vouchers can not be used to buy gift cards with. 


You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.

Food can’t be returned for food safety reasons. 

Sealed goods can not be returned if the seal are broken. 

Custom ordered products and products that are not on stock (i.e. ordered especially for the customer) are not eligible for returns or exchanges. The cost for the returns falls upon the customer to pay.

Gift certificates cannot in general be returned or exchanged for money. Are you returning a gift which has been purchased on Nordichaus, then you will receive a gift certificate to use on Nordichaus, for the price of the product you received.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). 

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

If your return is not accepted, we will contact you.
– You will be responsible for covering any new shipping costs.
– You may be subject to a refusal of the refund
– You may be subject to receive a gift voucher.

Shipping cost

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping cost for returning your items. Shipping cost are nonrefundable. 

Damages under transportation

Should the product have been damaged under transport, please do ensure photo evidence and take contact to the delivery company and to Nordichaus immediately. 

We need 3 photos:

  • Photo of the damaged product
  • Photo of the parcel where we can see the your name
  • The filling inside the packaged. 
Defective goods

In the event of manufacturing defects in the product purchased by the customer, Nordichaus’ warranty is limited to taking back the product, exchanging it or reimbursing the purchase amount, provided the customer complies with the conditions. Warranty of purchased articles is limited to the warranties of the respective producers. Claims cease to exist if there is improper handling or personal intervention.


For all disputes arising directly or indirectly from the contractual relationship, Zurich is agreed as the place of jurisdiction for B2B customers; in deviation from this, the respective place of residence of the customer is recognized for B2C customers. The legal relationship is subject to Swiss law.
