Here is the recipe for the best Christmas Gløgg / Punch. Gløgg is the Scandinavian word for Glühweine and punch.
This Gløgg is guaranteed to create a Christmas atmosphere throughout the house – and then it tastes fantastic!




All you need:
- Nicolas Vahé Gløgg extract Gløgg Extract, Red – Nicolas Vahé
- 1 L red wine (75 cl)
- Raisins
- Almond splinters
How to make Gløgg:
- Pour 0.5 L Glögg extract into a saucepan and add a whole bottle of red wine (75 cl).
- Carefully heat it all up, it must not boil. Add if necessary. schnapps, cognac or port wine to taste, for an extra strong and tasty mulled wine.
- Serve the mulled wine piping hot and add raisins and almond splinters.
Tip: You can also make a good non-alcoholic Gløgg by replacing the red wine with 9 dl mixed blackcurrant syrup.
