Nature inspires the CHESTNUT, specifically drawing from the form of a chestnut shell. The design, though reimagined with clean lines and a graphic touch, still clearly reflects its natural inspiration. As part of the ART PIECE collection, the CHESTNUT originates from Mette Ditmer’s own ceramic creations. These designs are reproduced in stone resin, a more durable material than ceramics, making them resilient to everyday use. Each piece is hand-finished after molding, ensuring that no two items are exactly alike, enhancing their uniqueness. However, the CHESTNUT is not safe for food use.
